Way to Cambridge

Today was our last day with action before we travel home tomorrow.  The weather was not to bad, only one short rain shower but pretty warm and windy. We have stopped on the way in Plymouth. It is a nice city with great history. The first settlers were landing there and we have seen the rock where the passengers of the Mayflower have entered  the country.

Way to Cape Cod, Sandwich (MA)

As we have checked out a coupe from the Nethlands talked with us. They asked us if we have been in the Norman Rockwell Museum there are very funny pictures much people are laughing in the museum. So we decided  to go.  And it was the right decision. Here are some pictures for you…

Did I told you that we had a bright, sunny but not so warm day? At the end of our 3 hours drive we have spend some time at the beach in Sandwich. We are staying here in a very nice hotel the Belfry Inn and Bistro (Jörn has done a very good job to find out the best hotels for us. After the first it was always better…, pretty good).

Way to Stockbridge, Massachussets

Today we had rain all the day, but we was on a 3 hours drive trip to the next destination.  Close to this town we have made a stop at the Hancock Shaker Museum. It was not so good like yesterday in the Shelbury Museum.  Maybe due to the rain? There are not so much pictures today. We have left the Vermont valley maybe the last pictures from the fall foliage this time…

2. Day in Basin Habour

Sorry, no pictures from today it was a long day. We were round 4 hours in the Shelbury Museum with sunny and warm weather. After that we had a long drive cross the islands at Lake Champlain to the border to canada, have left Vermont and entered the state New York (It was not possible to buy Sparkling water, so we needed to return to Vermont 😉 here it is always possible to get it). To cut the way short to Burlington we have taken the ferry. The dinner in Olive Garden was also very yummy, Cheri! Good night, tomorrow the pictures!

And here they are:

Way to Stowe, Vermont

In Vermont we have seen the foliage peak today.  Unfortunately most time without sun we had a little bit rain but mostly dry.  Only the few picture with sun can give an impression how beautiful it is. It is not possible to show this on a picture.  It looks like someone has painted a picture and lost a dash of colour in all colours from yellow , orange, red, green, brown all together in all color shade.  You need to come and show by yourself!

This was a relaxed day on the way to our next Hotel. We has made the way throught Desert Island to the Lighthouse Bass Harbor. A little disapointingly because of the short building… However entitel your own opinion.
